Thunder Run is a wooden roller coaster at former Kentucky Kingdom in Louisville, Kentucky. This is a custom designed roller coaster that was originally intended to be used at LeSourdsville Lake (Americana Park). It has 70 degree banked turns. Much of the thrill of Thunder Run comes from the force and roughness of the ride. Kings Dominion and Carowinds have mirror image clones of this coaster installed caller Hurler, and themed after the movie and Saturday Night Live sketch, Wayne's World.

On February 4, 2010 Six Flags abandoned Kentucky Kingdom. On May 27, 2010 Former Owner Edward Hart was again appointed to operate Kentucky Kingdom. He announced to the public that Kentucky Kingdom will not reopen, because the negotiations with the city of Louisville and the fair board have ended.
